Sobel, Michael

Michael Sobel, M.D.

Dr. Sobel's areas of interest include disorders of the veins and arteries.

He is a UW professor of surgery at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. He moved to Seattle in 2001 after teaching and practicing surgery at the Medical College of Virginia and Upstate Medical University at S.U.N.Y. Syracuse.

He earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and was a surgical resident at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Guys Hospital in London. He was a research fellow at Harvard University and a fellow in peripheral vascular survery at New York University.

He is board-certified in surgery and general vascular surgery.
