Michael Gofeld, M.D.
Dr. Gofeld is a UW assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and the Department of Neurological Surgery. His clinical interests include minimally invasive approaches in treatment of cancer, spinal and neuropathic pain, and advanced imaging diagnosis and mapping.
Patient Care Philosophy
Localize a pain source and provide the best available treatment to achieve long-term pain relief along with functional and social restoration.
The doctor and patient are equal partners in the process of recovery. The physician must utilize his or her medical knowledge and apply the best clinical and anatomical evidence in practice. The patient must desire to achieve specific health-related goals in his or her care.
Scope Of Care
