Hwang, Joo Ha

Joo Ha Hwang, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Joo Ha Hwang is a UW associate professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology. He specializes in diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal cancers, Barrett's esophagus and diseases of the pancreas. He performs endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopy, using advanced imaging techniques including confocal microscopy. He also provides standard diagnostic testing, such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
