About Terry Git Lee

Terry Lee, M.D., is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and a UW associate professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Lee provides evidence-based clinical services, consultation and treatment to youth involved with the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. He also performs advocacy work focused on increasing efficiencies in child-serving systems of care, and promoting policies that increase access to effective and cost-effective treatments. He is committed to supporting and enhancing the quality of life of disadvantaged youth with mental health concerns.

Dr. Lee earned his M.D. at the University of Minnesota. He is board certified in both Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He serves as an American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Child Psychiatry Board Examiner and Maintenance of Certification Committee Member.
