Suman Jayadev, M.D., is director of the Neurogenetics Clinic and of the Huntington's Disease Society of America Center of Excellence, both at the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Jayadev provides care to patients who have Huntington disease, spinocerebellar ataxias, muscular dystrophies, Charcot Marie Tooth disease, inherited dementias and other inherited diseases. She also sees patients at the Muscular Dystrophy Association Care Center and the Memory and Brain Wellness Center.
Dr. Jayadev earned her M.D. from New York Medical College, New York. She completed her residency in neurology and a fellowship in neurogenetics and neuroinflammation at UW. Her clinical interests include neurogenetics and neurodegenerative disease. Her research interests include neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration.
Dr. Jayadev is a UW associate professor of neurology. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Neurological Association.
