Dr. Rostomily, professor of neurological surgery, specializes in tumors of the skull base, especially meningiomas, chordomas and acoustic neuromas. He is also conducting research on skull-base tumors to find new approaches to treatment.

His philosophy is that the patient comes first and should be treated with respect and kept informed. He earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and completed an internship and residency in neurological surgery at the UW. He also spent a year at Atkinson Morley's Hospital in London. Dr. Rostomily is board-certified in neurological surgery.
