Omar Maurice Bhatti, M.D., is a sports medicine physician and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Bhatti is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as sports medicine.
Dr. Bhatti provides non-operative musculoskeletal and sports medicine to athletes and non-athletes. He takes a multi-disciplinary approach on the prevention and treatment of sports related injuries. He also performs interventional procedures with fluoroscopy and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
His clinical interests include treating runners, cyclists, soccer injuries, and non-operative arthritis management.
From the elite athlete to the most novice recreational sportsperson, Dr. Bhatti enjoys collaborating with his patients and focusing on their individual goals, so they can take an active role in their healthcare, become as functional as possible and return to the sports and activities they love.
In his free time, Dr. Bhatti enjoys running, hiking, soccer and international travel.
