Dr. Fialkow is a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery sub-specialty board-certified physician. He is an expert in vaginal reconstructive surgery, management of urinary incontinence as well as neuromodulation and repair of complications from reconstructive surgery. Dr. Fialkow has been a member of the UW faculty since 2001 and is currently an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Pelvic Health Center team with a focus on management of bowel problems including fecal incontinence and incomplete stooling. Dr. Fialkow is also the director of the simulation training program for the OB/GYN residency program. Dr. Dean earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.D. from the University of Washington. Dr. Fialkow completed both residency in OB/GYN and fellowship Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington. Dr. Fialkow also completed a Masters in Public Health during his period as Women’s Reproductive Health Scholar.
