Liz Perpetua is a board certified adult and acute care nurse practitioner, with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Washington. As a critical care nurse and cardiology nurse practitioner, she brings many years of experience evaluating and managing the complex patients with cardiovascular disease.
Liz joins us following her tenure in a similar role at Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute where she served as the Director of the Structural Heart Program. Her scope of practice emphasizes program development, clinical research, and patient care related to emerging therapies for structural heart disease such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), percutaneous mitral valve repair, and percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion. In the Regional Heart Center, Liz will serve as the Associate Director of UW Regional Heart Center Structural Heart Services and the Center for Cardiovascular Emerging Therapies. She is also faculty for the UW School of the Medicine, a teaching associate in the Department of Surgery.
Liz will see a variety of cardiology and cardiac surgery patients for UW RHC.
