Bio

Leo H. Wang M.D., Ph.D., is a physician specializing in neurology and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology. He also performs research on facioscapulohumeral dystrophy (FSHD) with the Seattle Wellstone Center.

Dr. Wang earned his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

His clinical interests focus on neuromuscular disorders, such as motor neuron disease (ALS), myasthenia gravis, peripheral neuropathies and muscular dystrophies including FSHD. His research interests include ALS and muscular dystrophies, especially funded research on FSHD through the National Institutes of Health and the Friends of FSH Research.
