Dr. Pauwels is an associate professor in UW's Department of Family Medicine.
Patient Care Philosophy
I believe in providing excellent medical care to the whole person, with attention to the family and community in which that person lives. Open communication, health promotion, patient education and access to information are highly important.
Outdoor activities and hiking, flyfishing, gardening, jazz, family and friends.
Women's health, including the full life cycle of reproductive health: preconception care to obstetrics to menopause. Dr. Pauwels also cares for many patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs.
