Patient Care Philosophy

I enjoy working collaboratively with patients, families and treatment team members. This typically involves working with patients to identify and achieve goals. These goals are often related to engaging in important activity after experiencing an illness or injury.

Personal Interests

Spending time with family, camping, enjoying the mountains, rivers, beaches and ocean in the Northwest.

Clinical Interests

Adjusting to injury or illness (such as TBI, SCI, stroke and amputation), depression, anxiety and pain management.

Research Interests

Treating pain and depression after TBI, SCI, or other illness or injury, increasing activity after illness or injury, helping interventions be more accessible to those with disabilities and self-management.
