Patient Care Philosophy
The Sports Medicine Clinic, at UW/Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, is the first ever clinic in the country with multispecialty focus on sports medicine. This is the most important reason I chose to practice here ever since the start of my career: we value and do provide a true multi-disciplinary approach to treatment of sports and orthopedic injuries and conditions, from primary care to podiatry to physical therapy to orthopedic surgery, with great colleagues to depend on for every facet of care to get patients back to action on the field, at work, or at play.
I enjoy distance running and have qualified for and run in the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon. As a graduate of Indiana University majoring in violin performance, I try to find time to play and to attend classical music performances.
Knee: arthroscopic meniscus tear treatment, ACL reconstruction; Shoulder: arthroscopic rotator cuff, instability, labral repairs; Elbow: ligament repair/reconstruction, including “Tommy John” surgery
Minimally-invasive meniscal repair; throwing injuries of the shoulder.
