Bio

Gina M. Formea, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, directs the outpatient Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology Service and provides neuropsychological assessments within the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle. Dr. Formea also assists the multidisciplinary rehabilitation medicine care team with treatment planning and recommendations for individuals with a variety of neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury, stroke and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Formea received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Washington State University, Pullman. She completed her psychology internship and her post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle. She is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology.

Her clinical interests include neuropsychological assessment and treatment of acquired brain disorders, psychotherapy and adjustment to disability.

Dr. Formea is a UW clinical associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. She has been a faculty member since 1996.

Personal Interests

In addition to working with patients, Dr. Formea enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family.
