Patient Care Philosophy

I like to work together with patients to identify and understand their concerns and their goals. Use of assessment tools allows me to provide information to patients about their current levels of cognitive functioning and about other factors influencing their everyday functioning. Together we can use this information to better understand recovery and to help make a rehabilitation/treatment plan. Working together with patients and families in this capacity is an important and rewarding part of my practice.
