Patient Care Philosophy
I aim for excellence in my day-to-day patient care, as a physician-scientist in clinical research and as a clinician-educator. I enjoy serving our patients as a member of a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, cardiologists and other health care providers, all closely working together to improve the quality and safety of cardiovascular and thoracic care.
Together with my family, I enjoy spending time in the astounding outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. I particularly like skiing, bicycling, hiking and more recently sailing.
