Bio

Dr. Kane is an expert in sarcoma and palliative radiation treatment. She is the program director of the UW Department of Radiation Oncology Residency and disease site lead for sarcoma. In 2010, she was appointed medical director and service chief of the University of Washington Medical Center Radiation Therapy Center, and is a passionate supporter of patient-centered care, collaborative teamwork and quality improvement.

My philosophy is to provide collaborative, team-based care that is centered on the patient and their family, and tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.

Family, gardening and traveling.

Skin cancer/melanoma; metastatic cancer; lymphomas; sarcomas.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Kane is currently the Program Director for the Radiation Oncology Residency program and is involved in various aspects of teaching.
