David Myerson, M.D., Ph.D. is a board certified pathologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW associate professor of Pathology. He has been recognized as a Seattle Top Doctor by Seattle Met magazine.

Dr. Myerson feels patient care is his primary duty. If he renders a diagnosis requiring urgent treatment, he personally communicates the information to the treating doctor, regardless of convenience, location, day or hour.

Dr. Myerson earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a member of US-Canadian Academy of Pathology, and is a past councilor of the Pan-American Society for Clinical Virology and a past-president of the Binford-Dammin Society of Infectious Disease Pathologists. His specialty is bone marrow transplant pathology and infectious disease pathology. He has a long-standing interest in the detection of virus infection in tissue biopsies by microscopy.
