Claire Creutzfeldt, M.D., is an attending neurologist at Harborview Medical Center, practicing in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Dr. Creutzfeldt earned her M.D. at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat in Munich, Germany. She completed her neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology. Her main clinical and research interests are in neuro-palliative care, especially for patients with severe acute brain injury.
Dr. Creutzfeldt is a UW assistant professor of neurology. She believes in working with patients to find out who they are and what is important to them. She also believes in educating patients about their disease, their treatment options and alternatives, with the goal to adapt diagnosis and treatment to what matters most to patients and their families.
In addition to helping her patients, Dr. Creutzfeldt enjoys ski mountaineering, rock climbing and traveling.
