Bio

Dr. Kamps is a UW assistant professor of radiology with a certificate of added qualification in pediatric radiology. Within pediatric radiology, she has a clinical and research interest in pediatric musculoskeletal radiology, and in particular skeletal dysplasias.

Dr. Kamps attended both Duke University and the University of Florida as an undergraduate and earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Florida. She earned her M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School. After an internship at Riverside Medical Center in Virginia, she completed her diagnostic radiology residency at UW and her pediatric radiology fellowship at Seattle Children's Hospital and the UW.

She has been a faculty member in the pediatric section at Seattle Children's Hospital since 2007, additionally serving as radiology consultant for the Skeletal Health Program. She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, Association of University Radiologists, American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Pediatric Radiology, International Skeletal Dysplasia Society, and Skeletal Dysplasia Management Consortium.

Patient Care Philosophy

As a young child I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome, which sparked my interest in medicine as a career. I enjoy using my skills as a pediatric radiologist to help solve the medical puzzles faced by families who bring their children for care at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Personal Interests

Swimming, tennis, bicycling, hiking and playing flute and piano.

Clinical interests in pediatric radiology, pediatric musculoskeletal radiology and skeletal dysplasias.

Research Interests

Skeletal dysplasias, pediatric musculoskeletal imaging and general pediatric radiology.
