Bio

Dr. Manuela Matesan joined the faculty in 2012 as an acting assistant professor at University of Washington in the Department of Radiology. She is a specialist in nuclear medicine with fellowships in PET/CT and hybrid imaging. She devotes her work to clinical activity, teaching and research in the Division of Nuclear Medicine.

My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized and the highest quality care for the patients.

Personal Interests

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and outdoor activities.

Clinical Interests

General nuclear medicine, PET and SPECT/CT imaging.

Research Interests

My areas of research includes application of nuclear medicine in oncology, including liver directed radiotherapy and radioimmunotherapy and brain imaging.
