Patient Care Philosophy
First do no harm. Care must be appropriate, effective and cost-effective. Patients must be treated with respect and share in making important decisions regarding their health care.
Skiing, travel, theater and film, but most of all, family.
Spine, peripheral nerve and brain imaging.
How radiology relates to patient outcomes, with a particular interest in implementing randomized controlled trials for radiology. He has also worked on randomized trials of diagnostic imaging for low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and vertebroplasty. In addition, he is interested in studying the appropriate use and cost effectiveness of new technologies.
