Jayson L. Benjert, D.O., is a neuroradiologist with the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Dr. Benjert specializes in the interpretation of imaging of the brain, head and neck, spine and peripheral nerves. He has been with the VA since 2012.
Dr. Benjert earned his D.O. from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Missouri. He completed his radiology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, Pontiac, Michigan, and a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is board-certified in diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Benjert’s clinical interests include research in neuroradiology, quality assurance projects, and the education of UW radiology residents and fellows. His research interests include computerized tomography neuroimaging, radiation dose reduction and improving image quality.
Dr. Benjert is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Radiologic Society of North America, American College of Radiology and American Roentgen Ray Society.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Benjert enjoys movies, golf, football, computers and photography.
