Patient Care Philosophy
I enjoy working in the emergency department where the radiologist, although not often seen by the patient, plays a critical role in identifying injuries and diseases so that the patient can receive optimal care. Body imaging is also very enjoyable because it allows me to have an impact on the care of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions for which imaging is necessary for diagnosis and follow up.
Family, jiu jitsu, percussion, running and backpacking.
Trauma imaging, body imaging, quality improvement, clinical decision support and imaging utilization.
Clinical decision support, advanced imaging appropriateness, practice variability and access to care in imaging, incidental thyroid nodules, appendicitis in pregnancy and imaging ventriculoperitoneal shunts.
