Transplant Services - Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung (UWMC)

About this Clinic

Transplant Services at UW Medical Center are a product of clinical, academic, and research activities of the divisions of transplantation and cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Transplant Services are principally organized around four multidisciplinary clinical teams:

Each team is dedicated to providing transplant care with compassion, integrity, and respect for individual dignity.

Transplant Services surgeons also perform most of the multi-organ procurements in Washington, Alaska, Montana, and northern Idaho, in conjunction with our regional organ procurement agency, LifeCenter Northwest.

UW Medicine transplantation services include Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, which offers pediatric kidney, liver, and heart transplantation services. In addition, University of Washington Medical Center offers programs in autologous bone marrow transplants and high-dose chemotherapy.
