The Harborview Infectious Disease Clinic evaluates and treats patients 16 years and older with possible or diagnosed infectious diseases including endocarditis, osteomyelitis, post-operative infections, and skin and soft tissue infections. Evaluation is solely for diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases; other medical and psychosocial issues are managed by the patient's primary care provider.
We are unable to manage patients with chronic Lyme Disease.
Patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome should be referred to the Chronic Fatigue Clinic. Patients with confirmed tuberculosis should be referred to the Public Health Tuberculosis Clinic with which we can coordinate management if necessary. Patients with HIV should be referred to the Madison Clinic. Patients with Hepatitis B or C should be referred to the Hepatitis and Liver Clinic.

Referrals should be faxed to number listed below. For patients on managed care plans, insurance authorizations must also have been obtained in advance. Self referrals are accepted.
