Our Cardiology Care
Drs. B. Fendley Stewart and Eugene Yang represent the exceptional care that patients rely on at UW Medicine’s Regional Heart Center, whose physicians are recognized internationally for their expertise in cardiovascular disorders and diseases. In fact, the Regional Heart Center was home to the area’s first heart-lung transplant, in 2007.
At the UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center, Drs. Stewart and Yang offer medical care and consultations on a variety of heart problems:
- Stewart’s specialties include preventing patients’ cardiovascular disease by treating cholesterol abnormalities, hypertension, and the metabolic syndrome.
- Yang's expertise is in diagnosing and treating patients’ coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, and lipid disorders.
