Patient-Centered Care

Our commitment to patient-centered care is at the heart of all we do at UW Neighborhood Clinics. This commitment is reflected in our ability to offer appointments six days a week, and to partner closely with each patient to ensure they receive high-quality, cost effective, personal care.

UW Medicine primary care physicians are the best place to start for support and care.  They are linked to a broad network of UW Medicine specialty care providers, and can make referrals to meet our patients' health care needs.

From Stigma to Hope

UW Medicine is leading the nation in integrating mental health care into primary care.  Our psychiatry and behavioral health physicians have found that brief mental health assessments and interventions conducted in the primary care setting help identify problems early before depression and anxiety become chronic conditions.  Our primary care physicians provide interventions in a safe and supportive environment, and provide referrals as needed to psychiatry and behavioral health providers.
