Health Sciences/UW Medicine News and Community Relations

News and Community Relations (NCR) is the central point of contact for news reporters for the five schools of the health sciences: the schools of dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and public health and community medicine.

NCR publishes information, in print and on the Web, about activities, issues, achievements, and the extraordinary ongoing research at the UW Health Sciences Center.

The media relations staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to breaking news, to help reporters to contact faculty experts, to arrange interviews, and to assist news organizations in gathering information.
