Electives that Meet Surgery Selective Graduation Requirements

Four (4) weeks (8 credits) of approved Surgery Selectives are required for Graduation. The Surgery required clerkship does not count toward surgical selective credit. This may be met by one 4-week rotation or two 2-week rotations. These rotations must be done within the UW/WWAMI program.

At the September 29, 2008 Elective Clerkship Committee Meeting, the WWAMI 699 Special Electives were removed from the Surgery Selective List. Students who registered for these Surgery Selectives prior to 09/29/08 are grandfathered in, and will receive this credit toward their Surgery Selective Graduation Requirement.  Students registering after 09/29/08 can only use the updated and approved list.
